The Harrison Ford Photo Thread

Post by Dana Doggett on Sat Jun 18, 2011 4:31 pm

Share your favorite pictures of Harrison Ford here!

ABSOLUTELY NO PAPARAZZI PHOTOS OR VIDEOS ARE ALLOWED TO BE POSTED ANYWHERE ON THIS FORUM. SoX respects the privacy of celebrities and their children and will not tolerate the personal violation which is paparazzi photographs and videos. Paparazzi - (defined by Wikipedia) is an Italian term used to refer to photojournalists who specialize in candid photography of celebrities, politicians, and other prominent people. Paparazzi tend to be independent contractors, unaffiliated with a mainstream media organization.

SoX defines paparazzi as:

01) Any candid photograph or video shot of any celebrity in which the photographer benefits financially through the sale of the unauthorized photograph or video recording. The celebrity was not paid by the photographer or any media entity who publishes the photograph or video. The celebrity may or may not be aware that they are being photographed or video recorded.

02) Any unwelcome photography or video recording of a celebrity who is not at work. This includes, but is not limited to: grocery shopping, taking children to school, having lunch with friends/family, at the beach on holiday, mowing the lawn, taking a walk, leaving a gym or doctors office, at an airport, getting into our out of a car, at a club, etc.

03) Any photography or video recording of a celebrity "on location" filming a movie or TV series - in which it looks like extreme measures were taken to obtain said photo (ie: photos taken from the top of a tall building looking down on the celebrity, through a peep hole in a fence, and other "creepy" photography - you know, like sneaking a picture of the celebrity inside his/her changing room trailer).

If the photograph or video in question fits the above criteria, and is invading the private life of the celebrity while he or she is NOT working it is considered inappropriate for SoX. If it's a photograph or video you would see on TMZ, Inside Edition, Access Hollywood, etc. it is not appropriate for this forum.

SoX allows the following types of photography to be shared:

- photoshoots
- movie/TV stills
- screen captures from movies/TV
- personal photographs (you snapped the picture yourself) so long as you are not a paparazzo, and have not gained financially for your photograph
- red carpet events photography (celeb children allowed if accompanied with their celeb parent)
- celebs at sporting events (celeb children allowed if accompanied with their celeb parent)
- celebs at gala events (celeb children allowed if accompanied with their celeb parent)
- posed pictures of celebrities at conventions with fans
- "on location" or "on set" photographs of the celebrity "at work" - not deemed "creepy" photography by forum admins (if you aren't sure, just ask us, we'll be able to help)

Images of the children of celebrities is never allowed on this forum unless they are at a red carpet event with their parents.

SoX is a paparazzi free forum. Thank you for your cooperation.

Do not steal HQ (high quality) images posted to this forum and post them anywhere else without permission (simply ask if it’s all right to share the pictures elsewhere and wait for the poster of the images to respond).

If you would like to share images with members of the forum, we recommend that you save the image and upload it to your own server or free image host account (ie: Photobucket).

You are not required to give credit to anyone when posting a picture. Giving credit is your choice. If you'd like to say "hey I got this picture from Frank Spotnitz's site!" you can, if you prefer not to, that's not a problem either. There are so many images of the X-Files actors and from the show itself that it's nearly impossible to give credit to the owner. Also, the owner of any picture copyright is the photographer's. Most images distributed throughout the fandom are done so with disregard to copyright laws. Nearly all fans in any given fandom are not the original photographer so credit is not required to say that you got it from an individual in the fanbase.

If you are a website owner and someone is sharing pictures posted on your website, they have the right to share images that have been made visible to the internet public. They are not required to say “images found at ‘website title’”. They can say where they found the image if they want, they are not required to. Do not harass members if this has happened, it is not against the Serenity of X Forum rules. Thank you for understanding.

If you are sharing a picture, please provide IMG or URL tagging to the actual image, do not force members to click on an external link to take them to a website that is hosting the image. If you do this, if found by an administrator or moderator, you may be asked to edit your post so that the image is showing. Thank you for understanding and cooperating.

Celebrity ownership is not allowed on this forum. Do not post or behave in a way in which you come off trying to look like you hold authority over information over any given celebrity. This includes (and is not limited to) pretending to be the only person in the world with "inside" information on a celebrity, claiming ownership over red carpet or photoshoot images, etc. If you have information, share it, don’t say you have it and then share nothing, that is not fun for members of the forum. If you have information and cannot share it yet, don’t say that you have the information, this can be perceived as bragging or “celebrity ownership”. Thank you for understanding.

So I have a thing for Harrison as Indy... wub devious

I have a thing for so many of his others... guh... I can't help myself even if I tried.

President Marshall...I'd totally go mile high on Air Force One.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Jack Ryan... 'nuff said.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Joe Gavilan...unbelievable lovable.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

William "Dutch" Van Den Broeck...guh...so lonely, upset, and depressed...totally doable.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Linus Larrabee...fooking adorkable.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

Quinn Harris...he might as well be my main squeeze...so utterly porkable.
[You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

I am so excited, I'm almost done capping all of the Harry movies I have on DVD. Before I made screen captures for his movies, the only ones out there were for the Indy films and the Star Wars films. My caps aren't always 'the best', but at least they exist. shy

Ooh, I don't know all the movies you posted caps from (could you name them). I'm bad at remembering character names (bad me!). Thanks!

So pretty!

Delicious Picture. drool

Sure, no problem. :)

1. President Marshall -- "Air Force One"

2. Jack Ryan -- "Patriot Games" and "Clear and Present Danger" (they're giving the next Jack Ryan movie to that guy who was one of the leads of the Star Trek movie. Harrison said he wouldn't mind playing Jack Ryan again because he really loves the character...but you know since Harry is going to be 69 this year, Hollywood has banned him from even taking on the character again. :( )

3. Joe Gavilian -- "Hollywood Homicide"

4. "Dutch" Van Den Broeck -- "Random Hearts"

5. Linus Larrabee -- "Sabrina" shy

6. Quinn Harris -- "Six Days Seven Nights"

My fave film of his is probably Regarding Henry, but love The Fugitive and also Witness.

Thanks! I still haven't seen "Random Hearts" or "Hollywood Homicide", I've seen the others though. Do you have any caps of him from "Regarding Henry"? I love that movie so much.

I do! That is one of the movies I have thoroughly capped.

Harrison Caps: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
(Just go to the Regarding Henry Folder).

None of his fans like "Hollywood Homicide" not because it's a buddy-cop movie, but because it deals with the whole hiphop culture in LA--so Master P is in it and Andre 3000 from Outkast is in it. Of course I like rap music along with every other type of music so I don't mind it, but it's not like Harrison's acting "ghetto" in the movie. He's a two or three time divorced guy who is dating a woman who does like radio fortune telling (played by actress Lena Olin) while being an LA cop with a part time job as a Realstate Agent. LMAO It's an action/comedy and I just am smitten with his character and the movie.

Fan hate "Random Hearts" too. It's a Romantic Drama where his wife cheats on him and dies in a plane crash while sitting next to the man who she is having the affair with--and that man is the husband of a congresswoman (played by Kristin Scott Thomas). It's a slow-moving movie, and very serious, but I'm smitten with it. Besides I tend to like Sydney Pollack movies (he directed "Sabrina" with Harrison, too, and Sabrina is one of my faves).

OMG i remember seeing Hollywood Homicide in the cinema and on TV since and I F***ing love it. It helps it has a lot of Hip Hop Culture in it cause i love that kinda thing. I think Ford is superb in it and is not out of place. I also love the dude he plays along with, cant remember his name. I think he does a very good job as the young cop. Its kinda like Men In Black in a way, Ford being the Jones character. I love how Ford is a Real Estate guy on the side too!!

And sometimes when James and I bicker, he might say "You gotta alotta cheek" and I say "Yeah and I got a big nose too" I LOVE THAT LINE from Ford. Man I wanna see the movie now! LOLOL! I think ppl too HH too seriously. It was fab and fun. Bit like The Other Guys.

Ok, I've got to find a way to see those movies I haven't seen, especially "Random Hearts", that one sounds really good.

Was the other guy in "Hollywood Homicide" Josh Hartnett? I love him.

OMG!!!!!! *SCREAMS* I nearly did a Mariah scream...you know, the kind that'll shatter glass.

Yeah, Josh as "KC" that's his name in the movie. He can't remember which girl he slept with because he sleeps with 'em all. He had like three jobs, remember? He was a cop, who was an aspiring actor, who also was a yoga instructor. I love when he can't remember the girls name and Gavilan just looks at him and says, "You dog." LMAO!!!

I am so in love with Gavilan though. Guh--just love him. I love his relationship with Ruby, too. Like they're just so great together.

Oh my god, LMAO!! Yeah of course I remember that line about "I got a big nose, too." That is so funny how you say that when you guys bicker.

Hollywood Homicide was the first movie I ever made a fan-video for a Harrison movie with--well I did one for Sabrina, but I had Sabrina on DVD since I was a teenager since it was my father's movie, but the first one I really sat down and did, it was for that movie. I wish I still had it online, but it's on some data disc and youtube deleted my older account so it isn't there. But I loved it--it was such a good video, I thought. I like blasted up in the Ford world with it, fans were like what in the hell? Since my style is so r&b/hiphopish for a lot of my music, they didn't know how to take it, but some fans really dug the type of spin I put on a Harrison movie.

Sigh...love HH. This is one movie I really, really want the script for. So far I only have the script for "Sabrina" "Random Hearts" "Six Days Seven Nights" and "The Mosquito Coast". I really want them for "Hollywood Homicide" and for "What Lies Beneath." First time ever that I actually love reading scripts and comparing what is difference. It's just so much fun and because I watch them a million times over, it makes for such great fanfic and movie ideas and blah blah blah. I'm not sure why all these Ford fans don't go for these scripts. All they want is Star Wars, Blade Runner, and Indiana Jones. I want all of the other movies.

Do you have Netflicks? The last times I checked, "Presumed Innocent" and "Hollywood Homicide" were available for Instant watch.

Buy Random Hearts for like a dollar on amazon. LMAO. I bought like all, but 4 of my Harrison DVDs used off of Amazon. "The Fugitive" didn't even come in its own jacket and neither did "K:19" and my "Patriot Games" box had severe water damage, but I swear it's the best investment I ever made. I used to go to work and hope on one coming in the mail so I could watch it when I got home.

Random Hearts is like at the bottom of the barrel. You'd probably find Hollywood Homicide at the store before you ever find Random Hearts. Everyone hates the shit out of that movie.

Hey, if I can burn it--I'll send you a copy! I have a bunch of blank DVDs. I just have to figure out if I can still do it, it's been a while since I copied DVDs. My Random Hearts DVD has such a beating to it, the inside plastic where you know the hole in the middle? It's falling off. Like one more play and it'll be gone. shy shy shy

No, I can't afford Netflix. I think I'll check my "rental store" to see if I can find it.

Ok, I just found "Random Hearts" and I'm downloading it now :)

He is just SO GOOD in The Fugitive. I remember that was the 1st film I saw in the cinema without my parents!! I was 12! I went with a bunch of my school friends, whom 2 of I am still friends with...and I still remember every moment of it to this day. I remember standing outside the cinema on the Saturday afternoon and bickering with my friend (who I am still friends with to this day) about whether we should Sleepless In Seattle or The Fugitive. The rest of us wanted to see The Fugitive but she wanted SIS and in the end we convinced her and she loved it. We all loved it - of course. Its a complete classic isnt it. I fell in love with Tommy Lee Jones cause of that film but Ford was just as brilliant. I think I know it scene by scene, word by word - cause I have seen it so many times!!

Dude, GREAT choice. I like bicker with a friend of mine before hand. When Crystal Skull came out in 08 I said "I am seeing Indiana Jones." and she was like "but, I want to--" NO. "Indiana Jones." I tell her this before hand though because If I am paying to see a movie, especially NOW that it is so expensive, I am paying because the trailer sucked me in. I ain't got no time to mess around.

EPIC! You saw The Fugitve at the movies...oh I am so like jealous of you. I've only seen four Ford movies at the movies. "What Lies Beneath" back in 2000, I went with my brother and his girlfriend at the time--and I was scared out of my mind so I didn't even take notice to Harrison being right in front of my face, I saw "Crystal Skull" three times and I saw "Extraordinary Measures" and "Morning Glory" at the movies. If "Crossing Over" had come out at the movies instead of going straight to DVD, then I would have gone to see it too (even though I saw it online and I didn't like it at all. It's like "Hanover Street" with Harry back in like... the late 70s, I have it on DVD, but it took me a WEEK to finish. I just didn't find it interesting, but you know I could always give it another try...but ahhh sorry! I started to ramble!)

I really want to see all the Indy's the movies. You know how they bring Star Wars back every so often? I want them to bring Indy where I live so I could go from the like early afternoon and stay there ALL damn day long and totally get my Indy Jones on.

Dude Tommy Lee Jones is SO freaking hilarious in "The Fugitive". I love it when he busts up with his people at that man's house (the one that escaped with Harrison, the black guy) and his wife kept on screaming and screaming and screaming and he just pointed at her and said, "Shut up." and she shut her mouth so fast. LMAO!!!! My mom and I get such a kick out of that part.

It's so funny. I saw "The Fugitive" like a bunch of Harrison's other movies for the first time back in 08 and after I watched them for myself, I watched them with my mom and her friend--and he'd be like "what one are we watching next?" We'd watch two movies per night during dinner. It was so epic...I loved it. Like one of the best memeories of my life, really. And anyway, my mom and I were so into "The Fugitive" that we both said, "But he didn't DO anything!" At the very same time like towards the end of the movie where he's about to kick his EX-friends ass and my mom's friend looked at us and he started laughing because we were like so upset that they kept chasing Harrison when he was INNOCENT!

OMG!!!!!! *SCREAMS* I nearly did a Mariah scream...you know, the kind that'll shatter glass.

I do Mariah screams a lot!!! LOL! biggrin

LOL!!! ITA - They have great chemistry together!! cheer

Oh my god, LMAO!! Yeah of course I remember that line about "I got a big nose, too." That is so funny how you say that when you guys bicker.

LOL and then doesnt he do a thrusting his crotch thing and say "THIS IS A SET UP!" or something????? crackup

Since my style is so r&b/hiphopish for a lot of my music, they didn't know how to take it, but some fans really dug the type of spin I put on a Harrison movie
.

I WANT TO SEE THIS VID YOU MADE OF HH!!!! If you join Multiply, they allow you to upload vids with no copyright issues. Its great there. I know how it feels to have things taken down on YT. Its so upsetting.

Oh no wait, he does the thrusting when they've got him and KC in for questioning. And Bruce Greenwood the actor who plays "Benny", the one that was married to Ruby before she started dating Gavilan, remember? He was on the other side of the closed space they had Gavilan and KC in and that's when Gavilan did the thrust thing right in front of Benny and I have no idea what he said, but it sounded like he said, "AND YOU KNOW IT!" Because remember when Benny went to that house Gavilan was trying to sell to bring him in, he woke up and Benny KNEW that Ruby had spent the night there with him and then before he gets in the cop car Gavilan blows a kiss to Ruby. AW. LMFAO shy I just love the two of them together, anyway, and so Gavilan was totally sticking it to be Benny, letting him know he totally had a relationship with his ex-wife. I LOVE IT. LMAO!! I took a screen-cap of him doing that. Drives me freaking WILD.

blush I swear the only issue I have with Gavilan is that his first name is JOE and that's my brother's name. That's why I make it a habit to call him Gavilan!

Oh, totally sweet. I need to check that video thing out. I need to find the video though. It's on a disc probably locked away in storage. I miss it so though. It used to be up at "Harrison Ford Online" when my friend ran the website, but then she stopped last year and took it down--and everything went with it. I could ask her if she still had it...but she's not really feeling the ford love these days so I don't want to piss her off or something.

LOL Great memories of watching the Fugitive. Shame you havent had the chance to see it in the cinema. Its such an epic film. I love how the credits roll on for ages into the film, the train crash, the murder, the interogation of him!! Just pulls you right in!!

I used to rewind the scene where Jones is in the same building as Ford, when Ford is visiting a prison guy and Jones sees him and he chases him down the stairs, then Ford tells the cops Jones is a mad man screaming, the cops stop Jones from getting to Jones, Ford runs, Jones manages to get his badge out, Ford gets caught in the automatic doors, and then just his leg as Jones is trying to shoot him!! JUST F***ING AWESOME! man I fancy watching it again now!!

I wish I had a scren cap of that scene!!
