This is the original edit of Extremis, released worldwide on Virgin Records in 1997. It was thought to be too racy so some scenes were toned down for the eventual release.

Reached No 23 in the UK, and beaten to the No1 spot in Greece by the Spice Girls! The track was originally released on the Hal album Gorilla Conspiration and was then used as the theme tune for BBC1 series Future Fantastic, which Gillian presented. Gillian liked the track and wanted to do a version of it, so got in touch with the band and this version was then recorded in Vancouver. The video was shot in Vancouver and London and was produced by David McNabb.
