Yay! I'm so glad it's renewed! No worry or anticipation like last year!

I don't know about anyone else, but I have been enjoying season 4 of "Chuck" less and less this year. There is too much emphasis on Chuck/Sarah and now they are engaged and they are so focused on that -- I miss the days of real spy stories and none of this relationship b.s. I used to love this show so much, now I don't even care if I miss it - even Adam Baldwin (our lovely John Casey) hasn't been on the show nearly enough this season. It's such a disappointment.

I actually hope this show comes to an end soon because it has totally jumped the shark.

I miss the days at the Buy More. I miss Big Mike and Morgan and Jeffster. I miss the spy stories... this season just hasn't lived up at all to the past. I miss the days of "Pineapple!"

I told you, a couple years back, that Chuck/Sarah would ruin this show. I've been rolling my eyes at them for well over a season now, and this wedding planning bullshit, is just so irritating. I don't care. I want the show back that I love so much. I sort of wish that Casey had died a few episodes ago, therefore I wouldn't feel obligated to watch the show every Monday just because he's in it. Honestly, he's nearly the only reason why I still tune in.

I always hope to see more Morgan and Jeffster.

I'm telling you, if Sarah ends up pregnant anytime soon. I called it first, and it will be the ultimate downfall of the series. It's bad enough that Ellie just had a baby *rolls eyes* and now Chuck and Sarah are planning a wedding *rolls eyes* The show's getting way too domestic for my tastes.

I miss the days where Chuck was a super nerd and adorable and freaking out all the time. Really, seasons 1 and 2 are the best... season 1 over all of them!

I honestly hope they kill Sarah off the show... but as you've said "she's the skin" the network needs.

BOO NBC! BOO! Not only are they pushing all this relationship shit down my throat, they didn't even green light "Odd Jobs" with Terry O'Quinn and Michael Emerson.

NBC sucks!

But yeah... every time you say you want Sarah killed off the show, I say "she's the skin the network needs to keep a male audience" and then almost immediately she's standing there in her bra and panties, or a belly dancer costume, or some outfit with mega cleavage. NBC is whoring her for ratings.

Chuck Versus the A-Team (March 14, 2011)
I have to say that this is probably the best episode of the season so far. There was very little Chuck/Sarah relationship crap injected into the story (actually I don't think there was any mention of their upcoming wedding, yay!). I liked that it put Chuck and Sarah in a position of the losers of the spy world, until Chuck saved the day with apple juice given to him by Casey LOL That's the best thing since Chuck saved the day by downloading porn in the series premiere!

Actually the apple juice thing made me want to watch the premiere episode of "Chuck" straight after "Versus The A-Team", and it's nice to watch the show and love the episodes from beginning to end, there was no eye rolling in watching the first two episodes of this series... "Pilot" and "Chuck Versus the Helicopter" :) I loved the show so much back in the good ol' days.

I loved that he saved the day with Apple Juice! Chuck is so my hero! Good to see the show went back (at least for this one episode) to the spy stories and not that other B.S. no one even cares about (well, that the mass majority of loud mouths cares about but I don't).

Wow. I'm half way through season 3 and I totally should not have just read this thread because I got a bunch of spoilers..

I just wanted to share that I didn't know RP was going to be a guest star and when I saw him on Chuck I leapt up and started screaming like a lunatic and scared the crap out of my poor innocent boyfriend, who thankfully accepted early on that I have the hots for the T100.

I can kind of tell that the show is going to go downhill and that season one and two are the best..Chuck is losing his innocence and therefore his charm.

I also find the whole on again off again thing annoying and redundant. But I will probably continue to watch if only for Agent Casey, who is, a total babe.

I love how Robert was on "Chuck" and had scenes with John Casey (Adam Baldwin played Knowle Rohrer on TXF - it was like a rematch LOL).

Seasons 1 and 2 are my favorite seasons too. I don't remember much from season 3 other than RP was in an episode LOL I love Chuck in those seasons so much, and it's before the show started to focus more on the UST between he and Sarah as the main plot point. In the first two seasons I liked Sarah, and not I just despise her. I blame her for the downfall of the series. I'm glad that season 5 will be the last season to be honest.

I'll continue watching as long as John Casey is around, he's so hot. He's actually the reason why I tuned into the show in the first place - for purely shallow reasons LOL

I was told to watch Chuck by my sis, and I like it a lot but Casey is really the most consistently enjoyable aspect of this show. It is annoying how he insists on wearing clothes though.

I think Baldwin is at his hottest as Agent Casey. I love Jayne but he was too mean for me to think of as sexy, and Knowle was kind of a bastard too. I love Casey, he's so gruff but loyal :swoon:

Yes! I love Casey, he's the only reason why I'm still watching "Chuck". Although I do adore Morgan, he's my favorite (and Jeff and Lester - you can see how the romance/UST aspect of Chuck/Sarah does not appeal to me LOL).

Hmm... Baldwin is hot as Casey, but I love the look he had as Jayne, very sexy - same with Knowle Rohrer. I loved him on "The Inside" too ♥ and if you ever get the chance to see him in a little movie called "Trade Off", see it - IIRC we get to see him get out of a bubble bath. He's young in that one though, and the movie is super cheeseball LOL

But yeah, Casey is one of those loyal types. I wonder if he and John Doggett would get on as friends...

I hope what Zach says is true. Really, this past season of Chuck was very disappointing for me. I hope in it's final season it can redeem itself.
